About this talk

Podcasting creates evergreen content, which helps you reach and engage with new audience. And like radio, it gives you a chance to dig down deep into your passion and message, communicate it creatively and share it with others. Best of all, it can be fun...

In this session, we'll investigate why you should podcast, and what it can bring you. We'll look at the tech requirements, what the minimum viable set-up is, and what skills are needed. We'll examine marketing and distribution and creative ways of doing these.

You'll finish this session with a clear idea of what podcasting involves, the benefits and costs, and lots of useful links to learn more about it.

Philippa Davies

I'm a web editor, writer and psychologist, who helped integrate johnlewis.com into the main business, and set up FYI network, online community noticeboards in small Welsh market towns. I used to run WordPress User Wales, and have had 11 books published, including 'Irresistibility' serialized by The Times. Way beyond what I expected, my online writing course has over 7000 students. I've written fiction, poetry, for radio and tv.
